Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a System Developer to join an expanding organisation in Yorkshire. The role is a permanent position, with ad-hoc office time required and a salary around £48,000 per annum.

The Role:

• Deliver improvements, new applications and system changes – simplifying services with the end customer in mind
• Deliver additional functionality to existing bespoke systems. Design and produce high quality workflow routines and configuration code
• Play a role in system testing through setting up representative test data, and demonstrate new functionality to users in training events
• The role will include developing automated solutions that deliver efficiencies in heavily transactional areas of the organisation

The Person:

• An experienced Microsoft full-stack developer who can design, modify and configure business systems with customers and colleagues in the fore-front
• Key experience in some of the following:
  • SQL (transact-SQL, writing SQL scripts, views, stored procedures, functions to use within workflow)
  • C#
  • ASP.NET MVC
  • VB.Net
  • JavaScript
  • HTML
• Experience at optimising the use and performance of applications and databases and working with third-party suppliers to tune system operation and solve problems
