Trainee Accountant

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a market leading organisation, based in Redcar, who are looking to identify a Trainee Accountant to join their Finance Department and support the ongoing growth of the company. Study support will be offered alongside a strong holiday and pension package. The company are currently working on a hybrid working from home policy which involves 3 days in the office and 2 at home. Occasional travel to other sites may be required so been able to drive is essential.

Role:

Duties will include;

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Identify and investigate variances
  • Assist with the maintenance of the fixed asset register
  • Produce ad -hoc financial reports when required
  • Liaise with budget holders responding to queries via telephone and email

 

Person:

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a Finance Graduate or have experience working within Finance previously
  • Hold strong MS Excel skills
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team and on an individual basis
