Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting an Asset Planning Surveyor for a Housing Association in Cheshire on an initial 6-month contract, with possible extension. This is a home-based role, with site visits across the patch, and office attendance for essential meetings required.

The role:

  • Carry out a range of asset management related surveys including updating internal systems as required to ensure that accurate records are always maintained
  • Liaise with customers and stakeholders to agree modifications to design briefs and provide technical advice as and where required
  • Evaluate asset performance and undertake option appraisals of underperforming stock
  • Carry out assessments relating to the production of Energy Performance Certificates
  • Determine the condition of existing buildings, identifying, and analysing defects, including proposals for repair or appropriate action

What you need:

  • Experience in an Asset Surveying role within social housing
  • Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other stakeholders
  • Relevant qualification in a construction-based discipline
