Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Housing Association who is looking for a Care Quality Advisor to join their team.
This role will focus on supporting services to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care for older adults. Working across multiple homes, you’ll coach colleagues, share best practice, and help embed a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out care reviews, observations, and audits to assess standards, identifying strengths and areas for development.
- Provide practical support and guidance to managers and frontline teams, helping them embed consistent, high-quality care practices.
- Ensure services are aligned with current regulations, inspection frameworks, and organisational standards.
- Analyse quality performance data and create accessible reports with clear recommendations for improvement.
- Work alongside service leaders to identify risks and implement robust improvement plans.
- Offer expertise in areas such as dementia care, medication safety, and personalised care planning.
About You
- Background in adult social care, with a strong focus on quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
- Up-to-date understanding of national care standards and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Skilled in building positive relationships and coaching others to achieve their potential.
- Confident in analysing service performance and translating findings into practical actions.
- Comfortable using digital platforms for care planning, medication management, and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
