Castlefield is partnering with a well-established Case Management company in the Medico-Legal sector to recruit Case Managers who will provide specialist expertise in assessing and managing complex health and social care needs for clients who have sustained life-changing injuries. Our client is looking to appoint two Case Managers on a permanent basis. These positions are home-based, but applicants must be based in the Midlands or South of England and be willing to travel to London once or twice a month for meetings.

Role: Case Manager

Contract: Permanent

Salary Range: £40,000 to £60,000 + Car Allowance (subject to experience)

Excellent Benefits package

Hours: 37.5 hours/5 days - part time may be considered (Min of 3 days)

Location: Remote/Home Based, You will be require to regular visit clients and attend team meetings in Central London

Main Responsibility: To lead and coordinate on complex rehabilitation, health and social care plans for clients who have been suffered with life changing injuries and illnesses, this will be delivered primarily in a personal injury and clinical negligence legal-Insurance context

  • Professional Practice: Work within professional competence, conduct holistic assessments, integrate complex information, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to relevant standards and regulations.
  • Client Care & Planning: Communicate effectively, identify suitable therapeutic options, implement and review evidence-based care and rehabilitation plans, set and monitor SMART goals, and ensure timely, cost-effective services.
  • Risk & Safeguarding: Safeguard vulnerable clients, reduce risks of abuse, manage risk dynamically, and design care plans with defined objectives.
  • Collaboration & Mediation: Liaise with statutory services, professionals, employers, and agencies; advocate for clients; represent them as needed.
  • Case Management: Monitor and coordinate care plans, allocate cases, supervise staff, manage records accurately, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
  • Reporting & Administration: Keep accurate time records, prepare reports, attend meetings, comply with court requirements, and respond to requests for information.
  • Professional Development: Maintain knowledge of care management, attend regular training, and support others’ learning and professional growth.

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year case management experience, managing complex care packages
  • Hold registration or already started registration with the following bodies – CMSUK, BABICM or IRCM
  • Hold a valid NMC or HCPC registration
  • Be up to date with all your latest CPD, attending conferences and new regulation updates
  • Excellent report writing, including medical assessments and cost/financial reports
  • Desirable - Medico-Legal sector experience working with clients with personal injury from a clinical negligence legal-Insurance context
