Finance Business Partner

Castlefield Recruitment are supporting a Local Authority to appoint an Interim Head of Finance level interim to lead on SEND and the High Needs Block. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior finance professional to provide high-impact leadership in a challenging and high-profile area. The organisation will be looking for someone to start immediately and the day rate will be £500-£600 per day (umbrella) dependant on experience.

The Role:

• Strategic financial leadership across SEND and High Needs Block
• Oversight of the SEND Action Plan, managing and monitoring budget pressures
• Supporting the Council in addressing the wider general fund budget gap
• Senior-level role with influence across Children’s Services and Corporate Finance

Essential:

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with Stakeholders 
• Knowldge and high level experience of using Excel
