Financial Planning Lead | Cheshire | Public Sector | Hybrid and flexible working | Excellent benefits
Castlefield are partnering with a well-established Cheshire-based Public Sector organisation, in order to recruit a Financial Planning Lead into their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact within a reputable organisation during a time of growth and development. The role operates on a hybrid model (up to 4 days p/w from home) and has flexible working arrangements.
Duties include;
- Leadership of financial planning, development, and treasury operations
- Ownership and development of 30-year business plan
- Perform scenario modelling to assess impacts on covenants and align financial planning with the long-term strategic direction
- Collaborate with the development team and senior stakeholders to integrate updates in development programs
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership
- Lead on cashflow management, and support loan forecasting and drawdowns
- Prepare regulatory returns
Requirements;
- Qualified Accountant (would consider those without qualification, based on experience)
- Ability to build influential relationships at senior level
- Highly analytical and strategic with the ability to manipulate large datasets
- Leadership experience
