Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a highly reputable Public Sector organisation based in Worcestershire in order to recruit a Head of Finance on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to lead and develop and established team, and make a positive impact and shape the future of the organisation's Finance function.
Duties will include;
- Leading the budget and financial planning processes for the organisation
- Interpreting complex financial information and prepare and present updates and information to Senior Management
- Leading on the preparation and review of all financial plans and budgets regularly and identify cost reduction opportunities
- Maintaining relationships with budget holders while overseeing and promoting adherence to budgets
- Providing the SLT with timely and accurate financial information
- Leading, developing, and progressing Finance team
Person:
The successful candidate:
- Fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CIPFA)
- Worked within Public/Not-for-Profit organisation
- Gravitas to work with senior directors and manage the team effectively
- Ability to build influential relationships at senior level
