Interim Head of Financial Planning | 6 months + | Remote Working | Local Government

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority to recruit an Interim Head of Financial Planning on an initial 6-month interim basis (strong possibility of extension)

Duties include;

• Supporting the D.151 in managing the Council's Medium Term Financial Strategy
• Deputising for the D.151 as required
• Ensure financial systems are being effectively managed
• Review and update financial planning processes
• Reporting to external stakeholders including Central Government
• Ensure effective financial reporting is in place

The person;

• CCAB/CIMA qualified, or equivalent with a strong technical skillset
• Experience within Local Government Finance
• Strong MS Excel skills
