International Tax Accountant

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with an industry recognised employer who are seeking a skilled and ambitious Tax professional with international tax experience join their team on a permanent basis. This is the perfect opportunity for a candidate that is seeking a role that will allow them to be the expert in their field for the organisation and be valued as a result. For the successful candidate they are offering a fantastic package and salary of c£70,000.

Role:

• Working with the Head of Group Tax, play a pivotal part in strategic plans to progress and maximise different aspects of tax
• Act as a champion with regards to VAT and other tax compliance audits
• Provide vital support around tax queries and write and lead on training
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and procedures and to continuously improve procedures in support of the financial strategy
• Support the development of systems and processes to ensure information requests are handled in an accurate, clear and timely fashion

Person:

• Must hold relevant Tax qualification (CTA/ATT) or equivalent.
• Possess an understanding of relevant Tax legislation
• Proven experience of international and indirect Tax
• Have strong system skills including advanced MS Excel
• Demonstrate a ‘self-starter’ attitude
