Management Accountant - Finance Manager | Permanent | Hybrid Working | Public Sector

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a highly reputable and progressive Public Sector organisation to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to add value to a growing organisation during a period of positive change.

Key responsibilities include;

• Leading on production of monthly management accounts and reporting to CFO
• Business partnering with key stakeholders to provide insightful finance advice
• Working with stakeholders to ensure robust financial controls are in place and risk is understood
• Playing a leading role in identifying and improving process improvements
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements
• Management and development of finance team
• Assisting the CFO in various projects to improve the efficiency of the finance function

The person;

• CCAB/CIMA qualified, or equivalent – applicants with significant experience will be considered
• Ability to build influential relationships with key stakeholders
• Experience within the public sector (desirable)
