Management Accountant | £40,000 - £44,000| Permanent| Merseyside| Local Authority:

Castlefield Recruitment are working with an Local Authority in Merseyside who are looking to recruit an management accountant to their busy team. The role is offered on a permanent basis and offers hybrid working arrangements

Duties:

• Allocating and mentoring grants
• Responsible for budgeting and assist with year-end arrangements
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• To monitor high need spends and produce the monthly forecasts

Experience:

• Local Government experience is highly desirable, wider Public Sector will also be considered
• Experience dealing with Grants
• Strong analytical skills and able to evaluate and report financial data
• Part-qualified CCAB/CIPFA/ACCA/CIMA – actively studying
