Castlefield are looking for Procurement/ Supply Chain Management graduate with hands-on experience supporting procurement functions within a public sector organisation. The Role
- Responsible for tendering, negotiation, and contract management, with knowledge of e-procurement systems
- Manage and support internal stakeholders to prepare, release and manage documentation for competitive tenders
- Produce reports, summarising complex problems
- Undertake day to day decision making for operational aspects of service or delivery, within a designated area of responsibility
- Provide detailed advice to internal and external stakeholders on service-specific policies, procedures and regulations
- Carry out investigations, searches and research information and data to identify trends, patterns and/or solutions to problems
The Person:
- Knowledge of public sector procurement frameworks
- Strong understanding of compliance, transparency & audit requirements
- Exposure to e-procurement platforms
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
