Procurement Manager

Castlefield Recruitment is currently partnered with a public sector organisation in the Northeast to recruit a Procurement Manager.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week on-site. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement, including tenders, mini competitions, and framework call-offs

• Manage and support procurement officers 

• Represent the procurement department at meetings, providing clear, accurate updates

• Collaborate with the Head of Procurement to improve planning and data use

• Develop procurement strategies and oversee fair, effective evaluations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Stakeholder management
• Public sector experience is advantageous
• Level 4 CIPS or equivalent experience
