Client:

 

Castlefield are excited to be partnering with a public sector organisation in Leeds as they undergo a programme of transformation. They are looking for a Procurement Specialist on a full time base to support the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for various contracts.

 

Duties will include:

 

  • Leading on a variety of procurement projects.
  • Providing expert advice on procurement and compliance with public sector regulations.
  • Drafting tender documents, managing evaluations, and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Building and maintaining our contracts database and producing insightful reports.

 

The successful candidate will:

 

  • Public sector procurement experience is required
  • Have a positive and proactive attitude
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • In depth experience of managing tenders in a public sector environment
  • In depth experience of supporting contract management
