Interim Technical Accountant | 6 months | Remote Working | Local Government
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority to recruit an Interim Teachnical Accountant on an initial 6-month interim basis (strong possibility of extension).
Duties;
- Leading on the year end closedown and statutory returns
- Leading in preparation of the statement of accounts
- Responsible for managing and delivering effective reporting including the annual accounts
- Ability to understand and apply technical accounting standards
- Ensuring robust financial controls are in place and financial risk is understood
The person;
- CCAB/CIMA qualified, or equivalent with a strong technical skillset
- Experience within Local Government Financial Accounts is essential
- Strong MS Excel skills
