Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded Public Sector organisation to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation going through a period of transformation, and make a positive impact.
- The role will be responsible for leading a customer-focussed, value adding business partnering team
- Building influential relationships with key stakeholders at a strategic level
- Demonstrate understanding of a specialist area of expertise to these senior stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making
- Supporting the development of effective financial strategies to ensure statutory financial duties are met and the Authority is able to deliver its strategic priorities
- Identifying and driving service improvements and efficiencies
- Presenting high quality financial information and analysis to Senior Leadership Team
The person;
- CCAB/CIMA qualified, or equivalent
- Proven business partnering approach with the ability to build influential relationships
- Experience within the Public Sector – Education desirable
