This role requires an experienced Finance Business Partner with demonstrable expertise in financial reporting and budgeting. The organisation is seeking someone who can start immediately and “hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clear, insightful financial advice that supports evidence-based decision-making across services
• Builds strong relationships with operational managers, acting as a trusted adviser who understands your priorities and challenges
• Delivers robust budget management, forecasting and variance analysis to ensure financial sustainability
• Translates complex financial information into accessible, actionable guidance for both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Drives continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies, supporting strategic planning and promoting value for money across the authority

Person:

• Someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage competing deadlines
• Strong system skills, including Excel
