Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting to a Management Accountant post within an NHS organisation. This is a short-term assignment, lasting 4-6 months, with excellent exposure to NHS financial management and will operate on a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse management accounts, providing insightful financial information to support decision-making
- Monitor budgets and expenditure across NHS departments, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support year-end reporting and statutory financial requirements
- Collaborate with senior finance and operational teams to identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
- Assist with forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting within NHS guidelines
Person
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manipulate data
- Stakeholder engagement experience with the ability to negotiate and build relationships
- NHS experience is highly desirable
