Castlefield are currently recruiting a Category Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in Liverpool. The role offers benefits that include hybrid/flexible working and an enhanced pension.
Role:
- Identify cost savings and other efficiencies
- Create procurement strategies within your assigned category
- Deliver value for money on procurement projects
- Support with strategic sourcing
- Manage stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external
- Manage supplier relationships and support stakeholders with contract management
- Contribute to the delivery of the organisations strategic plan
- Adhere to organisational policies and procedures
Person:
- MCIPS or equivalent level of relevant experience
- Public Sector procurement experience
- Experience of delivering strategic procurement projects
- Stakeholder management
- PA2023 desirable and PCR2015 essential
