Client:
Castlefield are currently recruiting a Category Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in Liverpool. The role offers benefits that include hybrid/flexible working and an enhanced pension.
Role:
• Identify cost savings and other efficiencies
• Create procurement strategies within your assigned category
• Deliver value for money on procurement projects
• Support with strategic sourcing
• Manage stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external
• Manage supplier relationships and support stakeholders with contract management
• Contribute to the delivery of the organisations strategic plan
• Adhere to organisational policies and procedures
Person:
• MCIPS or equivalent level of relevant experience
• Public Sector procurement experience
• Experience of delivering strategic procurement projects
• Stakeholder management
• PA2023 desirable and PCR2015 essential
