Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector organisation in Leeds to recruit for a Commercial Manager.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days a week on-site in Leeds.
Role Overview:
- Lead on high value complex procurements/tenders within the Built Environment team
- Demonstrate proficiency in dissecting and rebuilding contracts in a strategic manner, ensuring they align with organisational goals and compliance standards
- Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives
- Negotiate and secure advantageous commercial deals, showcasing strong negotiation skills and a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics
Key requirements:
· Public or private sector experience
· Tendering and contract management experience
· Strong stakeholder management skills
