Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Building Surveyorfor a North West based housing association. This is a permanent position, paying£41,000 - £43,000 per annum. You will be home based managing works across yourpatch, with mileage claimable from home at 55ppm.
The role:
· Undertake repairs, voids, and disrepair surveysto diagnose defects and prepare specifications of remedial works
· Contract manage remedial works within budget andtimeframe targets
· Conduct surveys of communal areas to ensure theyremain complaint and defect-free
· Conduct compliance and building safety surveys
· Raise work orders and manage works to completion
What you need:
· Surveying experience in a housing environment
· Minimum HNC qualification in a relevant buildingor construction related subject
· Knowledge and understanding of legislativerequirement for asset management and building safety in social housing
