Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector organisation in Bolton, to recruit an Interim Procurement Assistant. This organisation operates a hybrid working policy, requiring 3 days per week in their Bolton based office that offers free onsite parking.
The Role:
- Supporting operational Procurement Officers and the wider Procurement team
- Working under the Senior Procurement Officer and escalating when required
- Liaising with trust personnel regarding purchasing issues
- Assisting in the delivery of training to small groups on procurement administration processes
- Clarifying product and delivery information
- Working in a team to manage emails and requisitions
- Managing information on the eProcurement system
- Taking on administration tasks to support the procurement and supplies team
The Person:
- Experience in a procurement or supply chain environment
- Good communication skills including written and verbal
- Ability to organise and manage workload
- Confident with an ability to work autonomously
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- IT literate
