Castlefield Recruitment are working with an excellent Not for Profit organisation based in the Stoke area in order to recruit an Assistant Accountant into the team on a part time basis (4 days a week). This role will be for an initial 12 month FTC, is mostly remote working with the expectation being once a month or so in office and a salary of £29,284 FTE (with potential flexibility for the right candidate).
Responsibilities
- Assist with the production of monthly management accounts and year-end accounts
- Assist with the preparation of the group’s budget and forecasting
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and to carry out detailed analysis
- Investigate and understand significant variances
- Prepare and post accruals/prepayment journals
- Assist in the maintenance of the fixed asset register for both housing and non-housing assets
- Assist in improving reporting and accounts production process
