Interim Systems Accountant

Castlefield are seeking an interim Systems Accountant to join a public sector organisation on an initial 3 month contract. The organisation work 100% remotely however you will need to be based in the UK to complete the contract due to internal systems. The position will suit a strong Systems Accountant who can work independently as they will be accountable for maintaining the integrity and quality of data.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for finance systems, ensuring high availability and prompt resolution of user issues
- Lead the planning and implementation of updates and changes to deliver the strategy within Finance
- Administer and support the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) system and associated reporting tools
- Perform General Ledger (GL) support activities, including troubleshooting, data validation, and user assistance
- Manage and track all issues, risks and quality specifications. Escalate in a timely manner to the appropriate party when unable to resolve.
Person:
- Qualified Accountant
- Had extensive experience as a Systems Accountant previously
- Be either immediately available or available at short notice
