Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a organisation who are looking for a Tax Accountant to join their Tax department. This client is an industry renowned employer with a fantastic reputation in the market and region. Due to ongoing projects within the business which has increased the workload they require someone who possesses outstanding skills within the world of VAT accounting.
Role:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and directorates across the organisation
- Lead on the preparation and management of VAT returns and payments
- Assist with VAT reporting across the UK and the organisations foreign entities
- With a focus on continuous improvement you will identify new ways to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Coordinate data input and manage master data appropriately
Person;
- Have strong system skills including advanced MS Excel
- Experience of working in a Tax role specifically with VAT
- Demonstrable experience business partnering with senior stakeholders
- Have excellent report writing and presentation skills
