Client:
Castlefield are currently recruiting a Procurement Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in Manchester. The position can offer hybrid, flexible working, a competitive pension and the opportunity to manage a procurement function.
Role:
- Lead the procurement function and manage all high-level processes
- Deliver procurement strategy and ensure all relevant legislation is followed
- Provide procurement advice and guide key stakeholders on relevant contract management matters
- Ensure delivery of social value
- End-to-end procurement activity both above and below threshold
- Maintain contracts database
- Identify appropriate routes to market, utilising frameworks and DPS where applicable
- Report back to board
- Keep up to date with trends and market analysis
Person:
- Public Sector procurement experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- PA2023
- Ability to manage multiple projects across several categories
- Staff management experience desirable
