Strategic HR Lead

With considerable reach and influence across local government and the wider public sector, North West Employers plays an important role in shaping workforce practice across the region. As a key member of the team, the postholder will bring strong professional expertise, intellectual curiosity, strategic insight and a genuine commitment to making a difference. You will be motivated by the opportunity to influence regional and national conversations, develop trusted relationships and support organisations as they respond to an evolving workforce landscape.
Key elements of the role will include;
· Strategic HR Leadership and Advisory Services
· Regional and National Representation
· Employment Relations and Workforce Change
· Policy, Governance and Organisational Development
· Commercial Services and Business Development
· Insight, Intelligence and Workforce Analytics
· Profile Raising and Thought Leadership
Key experience and skills will include;
· Deep understanding of the public sector environment and the strategic challenges facing local government
· Specialist Understanding of Local Government and Education Workforce Frameworks
· CIPD-qualified HR professional with extensive expertise in strategic workforce management, employment law and organisational development
· Quality Assurance and Governance Excellence
· Strategic Policy Development and Implementation
· Specialist Understanding of Local Government and Education Workforce Frameworks
