Assistant Finance Business Partner | Stoke-on-Trent City Council | Hybrid and Flexible Working
Stoke-on-Trent City Council are currently undergoing an ambitious transformation across their services and are partnering with Castlefield to support this exciting change. After successfully adding a number of driven individuals as part of the initial phases of the transformation, we are now looking for an additional 4 candidates with the ambition and determination to continue this journey and become influential members of a forward-thinking finance team.
As part of this transformation, Stoke are looking to identify an 2 Assistant Finance Business Partners, to contribute towards the delivery of an effective, high performing, customer focused financial service that is continuously improving.
Further responsibilities include;
- Supporting the delivery of an integrated, robust financial planning process by the provision of high quality, accurate, timely and relevant information
- Supporting the provision of high quality, accurate, relevant, and timely monitoring and forecasting information
- Assisting in the delivery of financial management accounting, budgeting, and reporting matters
- Contributing towards the compilation, monitoring, and reporting of the Council’s integrated Medium Term Financial Strategy and other related plans
- Providing financial advice and guidance to stakeholders/service managers and partners
The successful candidate;
- AAT qualified / CCAB part-qualified Finance professional with evidence of continuing personal development
- Proven success in developing effective working relationships
