Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting an Asset Manager for a housing association based in Manchester on a permanent basis. The salary is £50,000-£60,000 per annum.
The role:
- Lead the strategic management of a social housing portfolio, helping to ensure homes remain safe, sustainable, and fit for the future.
- Support the development and delivery of long-term investment plans, balancing customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and value for money.
- Use asset data and performance information to inform investment decisions and drive continuous improvement across the housing stock.
- Work with colleagues, contractors, and external stakeholders to deliver property-related projects and asset management initiatives.
What you need:
- Experience within asset management, property services, or investment planning in a social housing, local authority, or residential property environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of housing maintenance, building pathology, and housing standards, including practical experience of applying the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
- Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to use asset information and property data to support investment decisions and service improvement.
