Castlefield are currently working with a Lancashire based Public Sector organisation to recruit a Finance Projects and Systems Manager into the team on an initial 6 – 9 month fixed term basis (with the potential to go permanent). This role offers hybrid working, a salary of £47,000 - £52,500 and 39 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
Duties include:
• Develop and lead the finance systems strategy, ensuring alignment with institutional strategic objectives, digital transformation priorities and regulatory requirements
• Specifying and designing complex, business critical integrations, analysing and interpreting business requirements and translating these into technical designs, including the application of agreed data modelling and design techniques in line with the agreed system and service design standards
• Plan and lead the scoping, procurement and implementation of new systems and processes, including ongoing process review mapping and associated documentation
• Take responsibility to establish project objectives and ensure the scope of the implementation project is clearly defined, agreed, and managed
• Act as the lead authority on finance systems architecture and future systems direction
• Plan, manage and perform upgrades, hotfix patches, including software development and testing
• Review and appraise supplier/vendor product roadmaps and development
