Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a public sector organisation in Manchester to recruit an Interim Category Manager.
The Role:
- Lead and deliver end-to-end procurement projects
- Ensure compliance with relevant procurement legislation
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in relevant category area to develop sourcing strategies
- Manage the delivery of contracts ensuring timely execution and alignment with strategic objectives
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation
- Supplier relationship management
- Deliver value for money and achieve best outcomes for the organisation.
The Person:
- Proven category management experience
- Strong knowledge of public sector procurement processes and practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- PA2023 experience
