Castlefield are partnering with an NHS trust, to recruit an Interim Inquests and Claims Manager working within their Clinical Legal Services team.
This role is 3-month role with possibility of extension, working remotely/hybrid on a full-time contract (part time may be considered).
Job details:
- We are seeking an experienced Inquest Manager to lead and coordinate the organisation’s response to inquests.
- This is a hands-on role requiring attendance at court, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work confidently with staff in challenging and sensitive situations.
- You will be persuasive, well-organised, and able to secure high-quality statements within tight deadlines.
- The role requires strong prioritisation skills, resilience, and a caring, professional approach when supporting staff through the inquest process.
Essential requirements include:
- Minimum 3 years’ NHS experience in same or similar role
- Legal qualification
- Ability to attend court in person
This is a key role requiring confidence, professionalism, and attention to detail in a fast-paced and legally sensitive environment.
