Castlefield is delighted to be supporting a leading Healthcare Provider with the appointment of a an experienced Senior Radiographer, to join our dynamic imaging team. About the Role
As a Senior Radiographer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services working with leading expert Consultants, and using cutting edge technology.. You will contribute to service development, ensure compliance with professional standards, and help maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee a wide range of diagnostic imaging examinations to a high clinical standard
- Provide clinical leadership and day-to-day supervision of radiography staff
- Support training, mentorship, and competency development of junior team members and students
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety, and departmental protocols
- Contribute to quality assurance, audit, and service improvement initiatives
- Participate in rota cover, including evenings and weekends where required
About You
- HCPC registered Radiographer
- Significant post-qualification experience in diagnostic radiography
- Proven ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Commitment to patient care, safety, and professional development
- Experience in CT / MRI Radiography
