Castlefield Recruitment are working with a large Public Sector organisation in Southern England who are seeking a Category Manager to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. There is a strong possibility for a further 6 month extension beyond this.

The salary is on offer is £54,000 - £62,000 per annum + excellent benefits.

They are looking for someone with strong capital procurement experience who can start at short notice.

Hybrid working arrangements are available and my client would welcome applications from the Private and the Public Sector.

Responsibilities:

• Support the team with complex purchasing and procurement projects across Clinical, Non-Clinical and DDAT
• Projects vary from HVAC, Roofing, Engineering, Asbestos Removal, Medical Equipment & Power Tools purchasing
• Work cross functionally Estates/Engineering & Project Management teams
• Manage stakeholders both internally and externally on timescales
• Utilise frameworks to produce procurements

Person:

• Excellent procurement experience – end to end tendering
• Experience in the Public or the Private sector
• Knowledge of Capital (Clinical or Non-Clinical) / Equipment / Estates Procurement would be advantageous
