Castlefield Recruitment are currently partnering with a large housing association in the Southeast to appoint an Interim Treasury Manager with relevant housing sector experience. This role is available for an immediate start. The day rate will be dependent on experience, and the organisation offers a hybrid working arrangement.

Duties include:

• Managing daily cashflow to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational and development requirements
• Overseeing loan portfolio administration, including covenant compliance, reporting, and maintaining lender relationships
• Developing and implementing treasury policies, controls, and risk management frameworks aligned with organisational objectives
• Leading the forecasting and monitoring of interest rates, debt requirements, and investment opportunities
• Preparing treasury-related reports for senior leadership, the Board, and external stakeholders
• Supporting funding activities, including capital raising, refinancing, and maintaining accurate records of treasury transactions

Person attributes:

• Excellent communicator with the ability to negotiate at a senior level
• Able to operate in a fast-paced environment and operate anonymously
• Experience of using various finance packages and advanced Excel system skills
