Client:
Castlefield are working with an great establishment as they look to recruit a personable Procurement Category Manager to join their Procurement team.
Duties will include:
- Provide procurement support for strategic initiatives
- Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of new procurement legislation
- Gather information, conduct research, analyse data, and prepare reports
- Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders
- To lead the delivery of a consistent and professional service, ensuring customer service excellence.
- To apply specialist knowledge in delivering and developing a high-quality service for Strategic Procurement, providing diverse and comprehensive support relating to the procurement activities
- To organise and oversee the operational work of the procurement team; be accountable for ensuring the quality and integrity of service and compliance with relevant frameworks, regulations or legislation
The successful candidate will:
- Public or Private Sector experience is required
- Experience of managing and delivering procurement related processes and activities
- A strong background in procurement, with a proactive mindset, willing to come in and hit the ground running
