Role: Procurement Officer
Location: Stafford/Remote
Salary: £32,000 - £33,500
Length: Permanent
Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Procurement Officer to join a Public Sector organisation in Staffordshire on a permanent basis.
Role:
- Running end-to-end procurement projects
- Responsible for sourcing and negotiating terms with suppliers
- Managing procurement contracts
- Administering tender documentation
- Support and assist with the development of category strategies
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Assist with the reporting on procurement spend and efficiencies achieved for contracts awarded
- Contract Management
Person:
- Knowledge of Public Contract Regulations 2015 and PA2023 is essential
- Public sector procurement experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Able to run end-end procurement tender is essential
- Commercially aware
- Analytical
- Verbal and written communication skills
