Purchase Ledger Clerk - £25-26K
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a rapidly growing organisation based in East Leeds who are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis. They are based in modern offices with free onsite parking. It will suit a proactive candidate who can work well as part of a team.
Duties:
- Purchase Order (PO) processing to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
- Conduct monthly reviews of the aged payables ledger, ensuring any issues or discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Prepare the monthly supplier payment run, ensuring payments are accurate, timely, and properly authorised.
- Send prompt remittances to suppliers upon payment.
- Monitor accounts inbox and respond to supplier queries promptly and professionally
- Monitor orders inbox and respond to queries promptly and professionally.
Experience:
- Previous Purchase Ledger/ Accounts Payable experience
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Previous MS Excel experience
