Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a Reading based Public Sector organisation to recruit an Interim Category Manager on a 6 month fixed term contract basis.
This role offers a salary of £50,000 - £54,000 per annum dependant on candidates experience with 2 days on site presence required each week.
Duties include:
- Support the Deputy Head of Procurement with complex purchasing and procurement projects across a mixture of Category areas
- Manage stakeholders both internally and externally on timescales
- Utilise frameworks to produce procurements
Person:
- Team player – must be able to help with adhoc tasks and build strong relationships with current team members
- Purchasing experience
- Experience in the Public or the Private sector
- Knowledge of Capital (Clinical or Non-Clinical) / Equipment / Estates Procurement would be advantageous
