Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Category Manager position for a Public Sector organisation in Birmingham. The role offers great benefits including remote/hybrid working, enhanced pension contributions and flexitime.
The Role:
- Leading on end-to-end procurement projects
- Responsible for sourcing and negotiating terms with suppliers
- Managing procurement contracts
- Administering tender documentation
- Support and assist with the development of category strategies
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Assist with the reporting on procurement spend and efficiencies achieved for contracts awarded
The Person:
- Knowledge of Public Contract Regulations 2015 / PA 2023
- CIPS qualified, or willing to work towards
- Commercially aware
- Analytical
- Verbal and written communication skills
