Castlefield are currently working with a public sector organisation in South Yorkshire to recruit for a permanent Head of Procurement.
Working Pattern: 4 days on-site, 1 day at home
Role Summary:
· Lead strategic contract management across keysuppliers to maximise performance and minimise risk
· Develop strong supplier partnership approachesthat support service improvement and commercial innovation
· Lead & deliver the commercial strategy tomaximise income generation and financial sustainability through commercialgrowth, service development, and external partnerships
· Translate strategic commercial objectives intoclear operational delivery plans
· Identify, develop, and implement innovativecommercial opportunities that support growth and long-term sustainability
Key skills required:
· Significant experience in a senior commercial,business development, procurement, or operational leadership role
· Strong supplier management skills
· Experience leading procurement activity,contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
· Relevant qualification such as CIPS
