Overview:
Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a York based organisation to appoint a Senior Accountant on a fixed term contract basis – initial 12months. The organisation requires onsite presence twice a week in their state of the art offices which are easily accessible via car and public transport. They offer market leading benefits package including excellent pension and holiday entitlement.
The role:
· Prepare financial reports including group consolidation for Senior Management
· Preparation of variance analysis of finance performance across the organisation
· Collate and analyse large data sets. In particular data around costings and grants
· Provide technical input to support new ventures
· Line Management responsibilities
The person:
· Professionally qualified accountant (e.g.,CIPFA, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA).
· Demonstrable commitment to ongoing professional and leadership development.
· Significant expertise in preparing financial reports for senior management
