Supply Chain Specialist

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a public sector organisation to recruit for a Supply Chain Specialist.
This role will be 3-6 months initially and will require full time on-site prescence in York.
The role:
· Lead the implementation of a new inventorymanagement system, including planning, configuration, testing, and rollout
· Review processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
· Work closely with internal stakeholders(finance, procurement, operations) to ensure system integration and alignment
· Monitor system performance and identifyopportunities for continuous improvement
· Develop and deliver training to end users toensure effective system adoption
· Ensure compliance with relevant policies,procedures, and public sector governance requirements
Key skills:
· Proven experience in a leadership positionwithin supply chain management
· Inventory management and systems experience
· Ability to manage multiple priorities anddeliver projects within deadlines
· Knowledge of public sector processes andregulations
