Director of Finance

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a reputable Housing Association in order to recruit a Director of Finance on an interim basis (with potential to go permanent). This role will be for an initial 6 months, offers flexible working and a day rate of £800/d - £1000/d dependant on candidates' experience.
Duties;
• Working with Strategic Land and Regen teams to understand operational plans and priorities to feed into financial modelling
• Progressing investment modelling based on the strategic plan
• Develop the financial control framework implementing business rules and metrics / guardrails
• Establishing an appropriate appraisal model / system with agreed financial inputs and outputs (financial and non-financial)
• Implementing enhanced scheme Budget control and reporting
• Challenge and ensure Budgets are in place for each scheme and expenditure controls implemented
• Working with the New Homes and Central Finance teams to join up the required Investment including the impact of potentially switching investment between Regen and New homes on the Group financial framework, loan covenants and credit metrics.
Candidate criteria:
• Director level with experience of influencing Operational Directors and other key stakeholders (i.e. group finance)
• Must be available in the next few weeks due to initial deliverables required in next 3 months
• Experience of supporting large scale Regeneration projects and helping to shape the future direction
