Job Summary
Castlefield are seeking an interim Financial Accountant to join a public sector organisation on an initial 3 month contract. The organisation work 100% remotely however you will need to be based in the UK to complete the contract due to internal systems. The position will suit a strong, technical Accountant who can work independently supporting key financial decision making across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the Statutory Accounts and quarterly Consolidation, and any associated, returns on the organisations financial performance and position
- Lead the preparation of supporting information for Internal and External Audits and associated reviews
- Lead in ensuring that forecasting is timely, relevant and accurate by challenging and verifying the reports prepared by the Financial Analysts
- Line Management of 2 part qualified Financial Analysts
- Hold responsibility for the monitoring of the Balance Sheet position and cash flow analysis.
Person:
- Qualified Accountant
- Had extensive experience preparing statutory reports previously
- Be either immediately available or available at short notice
