Castlefield Recruitment have partnered with a reputable public sector organisation in Central London who are looking to recruit a Senior Category Manager for their Clinical Procurement team on a permanent basis.
This role offers hybrid working, excellent pension contribution and many more great benefits in addition to a chance to work on high value and business critical projects.
Duties:
· Undertake a large range of procurement projects(tendering) to achieve value added savings
· Support the Assistant Director in the development and implementation of procurement strategy
· Communicate procurement policy and technical information to senior managers and directors
· Responsible for high level negotiations and reviews on contracts/issues with external suppliers of goods and services within a specific category or subcategory
· Develop and implement effective methods for evaluating high value supplier offers and tender options to ensure selection of equipment and consumables that meet operational needs and provide value for money
· To provide timely procurement related responses to stakeholders to facilitate improvements to service delivery and configuration
Experience:
· Public Sector Procurement experience within Clinical Procurement OR Private Healthcare
· Experience of Product rationalisation, Clinical trials and managing a change process in Products
· Excellent stakeholder management and stakeholder engagement skills
