Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a Leeds based organisation to recruit an Internal Auditor on a permanent basis. The organisation requires onsite presence twice a week and offer market leading benefits package including excellent pension and holiday entitlement. Duties will include:
- Take the strategic lead for development and delivery of a range of internal audit work
- Identify improvements in internal control, governance, risk management and operational effectiveness and efficiency
- Provide a source of expert advice/consultancy, including attendance at relevant boards, on a wide range of internal control, corporate governance and risk management arrangements.
- Lead on the management of internal audit reviews working closely with the business clients and other stakeholders.
- Determine an approach for audit assignments within the Strategic Internal Audit Plans and ensure these are delivered on time.
- Lead on the implementation and monitoring of service quality regimes and audit specifications.
- Direct management of 2 part qualified members of staff
The successful candidate will:
- Holds a degree or has equivalent relevant experience in Internal Audit.
- Relevant professional qualification (CCAB qualified accountant or CMIIA)
- Practical experience of successfully performing in a similar role.
