Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Repairs Advisor for a housing association in Greater Manchester on a permanent basis. The salary is £29,000 per annum, and office attendance is required 3 days per week.
The role:
· Be the first point of contact for tenants reporting repairs, ensuring that accurate information is gathered and repair requests are categorised appropriately
· Identify and escalate high risk issues
· Maintain high-quality repairs data, ensuring all jobs are coded correctly
· Maintain consistent liaison with contractors to ensure repairs are scheduled and completed within target timescales
· Monitor appointment success, delays and potential failures, escalating concerns as needed
· Ensure all repair records meet internal audit expectations and regulatory standards.
What you need:
· Experience of working in a customer service or contact centre environment within housing or a related environment
· Knowledge and understanding of repairs issues within housing such as responsive repairs and damp and mould
· Awareness of statutory responsibilities relating to property safety (e.g Awaab’s law)
