Mechanical Manager, Interim, £250 - £300 per day
Client:
We are currently recruiting for a temporary Mechanical Engineer/Managerto join a large Public Sector organisation in Blackpool for a 6 monthassignment (with a strong possibility of extension). The assignment can startimmediately.
Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for theeffective management, maintenance, and compliance of all mechanical buildingservices across the organisation. This includes heating, ventilation, airconditioning (HVAC), hot and cold water systems and other associated plant andequipment. The role involves providing technical expertise, ensuring statutorycompliance, managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactivemaintenance.
Duties include;
· Manage, plan, and supervise mechanical maintenance and installation works across the estate
· Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, HSE guidance, Water Safety, Legionella (ACoP L8)
· Act as Authorised Person (AP) or ResponsiblePerson (RP) in designated specialist areas
· Maintain accurate statutory and operationalrecords in line with CAFM and estates policies
· Ensure PPM schedules are up to date anddelivered within compliance timeframes.
· Participate in water safety and ventilationgroups, providing specialist technical input
